A man has been arrested following armed police presence at an incident in Connah’s Quay.
Sections of York Road and Church Street were closed in what eye-witnesses said was a "huge" police presence near Esso garage.
North Wales Police have confirmed that the incident has been ‘resolved’ however no further details have been given.

A spokesperson said: “In relation to the incident on Golftyn Lane in Connahs Quay the matter has now been resolved - thank you all for your patience.”
Earlier today, the police (Wednesday, October 19) did confirm that armed officers were at the scene in a statement that said: "We are currently dealing with an incident on Golftyn Lane in Connah's Quay. We understand the presence of armed officers might be alarming, but this is an isolated incident and there is no further risk to the public.
"A man has been arrested and officers remain at the scene.
"Please avoid the area for the time being. Thanks in advance for your cooperation."
The roads were confirmed to have reopened just before 8.30 pm this evening.
