A MAN who died as a result of a crash on the A483 over the weekend has been named.
Andrew Howat was 40-years-old and lived in the Wrexham area.
He died following the road traffic collision on the A483 Gresford Bank, Wrexham on Saturday night (October 15).
Today, Mr Howat's family have paid tribute to his 'fun-loving' and 'vivacious' personality.
A statement from the family read: “On Saturday the 15th of October, a tragic accident took the life of our deeply loved Husband, Father, Son and Brother, Andy Howat.
“As a family we are in deep shock at our loss. He will always be remembered for his fun-loving, vivacious personality, who would help anyone in need.
“As a family we are coming together to comfort each other in this time of great sadness and would respect time and space to come to terms with our loss.”
Officers continue to appeal to anyone who may have been travelling along the A483 around the time of the collision and who may have dash cam footage.
