MUCH like politics, everyone has an opinion on the former Groves School in Wrexham.
The future of the building and the site itself have been a hot topic since its closure in 2006.
Owners Wrexham Council had originally planned for demolition to make way for two new schools.
However, following an appeal by campaigners, they were prevented after the Welsh Government stepped in to list it in August 2016.
A covenant on the land that it be used for eduction has generated several proposals over the years - including plans to create a new college campus for Coleg Cambria - but all have fallen through.
While no decision is yet reached on the site's future, the grade II listed building continues to fall into disrepair, much to the dismay of Wrexham residents.

The Leader asked members of the Local Bygones Facebook nostalgia group for their suggestions of what could be done at the location. And we had hundreds of responses.
Many took into account the long-standing covenant for an educational purpose...
Cerys K-Jones: "If it's education, then a training college with a restaurant, shop, a multi-use site."
Claire Lewis: "Something to train nurses, etc because we need them desperately."
Laura Clarke: "A Welsh super school."
Sharon Lloyd: "A teaching unit, have midwifery training and unit onsite."
Peter Ellson: "A skills training centre for electricians, plumbers and building trades, or an engineering tech school."
Chris Allman: "Wrexham AFC training ground and academy."
But there were plenty of other suggestions too, that also offered solutions to different issues in the borough...
Morlais Jones: "Maybe it could be converted to a specialist cancer treatment facility, so that Wrexham people don't have to travel far and wide for treatment. Alternatively, an after care unit to free up hospital beds to ensure people get faster treatment."
Donna EV's: "Turn it into a hospital that is much needed for this area. Also could be used as a soft play centre, arcades or youth club. Make something for the teenagers to go to."
Dexter Thomas Lines: "Knock it down, plant a tonne of trees and let it be a nice green space for town residents. Wrexham is getting far to built up and busy."
Rebecca Dreinert: "Rehabilitation centre for those not yet fit enough to go home."
Richard Gabriel: "House the homeless and give them an education and an address to help them get back into work, homelessness and addiction recovery and learning centre."
Claire Bennett: "My thoughts would be a library, information, and arts centre."
Charles Williams: "Great to centralise all the doctors' surgeries in Wrexham in one place."
Other ideas included a walk-in to ease A&E, a theatre/events hub or allotments.
Many expressed their desire for the site not to be used for more housing or supermarkets.
But Craig Hughes summed up what most agreed with: "Anything except let it fall into a state of disrepair."
