WREXHAM AFC has confirmed that it has passed the one million followers mark for its combined social media channels.
That news was announced by the club on Tuesday, October 11, as its popularity increases worldwide.
The Reds' takeover by Hollywood stars Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney has certainly gone a very long way to raising its profile to astronomical levels.
And the Welcome to Wrexham documentary, which airs weekly on Disney Plus, has been another major factor for increasing Wrexham's popularity overseas.
Incredibly, the club says it has gained more than 200,000 followers in the six weeks since August 30, 2022.

It adds that it has gained more than 620,000 new followers across its main social media channels – TikTok, Twitter, Instagram, Facebook and YouTube – since March 1, 2022.
In September 2022, worldwide traffic to shop.wrexhamafc.co.uk reached 215k monthly visits – up 119% from the month before and up 3,728% from where it was in January.
A look at daily visits over the past 28 days shows that traffic to the merchandise site has spiked each day after the airing of Welcome to Wrexham.
