A WREXHAM AFC star has thanked the 'Welcome to Wrexham' team for 'beautifully' telling the heart-breaking tale of his and his partner's baby loss story.
The Disney Plus series mainly focuses on the takeover of Wrexham AFC by Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney.
However, it does also shine a spotlight on the diehard fans within the community, as well as the club's players and coaches.
Jordan Davies and his partner Kelsey Edwards shared their loss of baby Arthur, during episode 12.
On that emotional episode, the pair open up about their journey and how Arthur was 'born sleeping' at 27 weeks old.
Kelsey described the loss as 'heartbreaking' and 'really difficult'.
Midfielder Davies has since taken to social media to thank the documentary team for the way they 'beautifully' portrayed their journey.
Thank you to the documentary team for telling Arthur’s story so beautifully, thank you to everyone for the messages and support ❤️ @Wrexham_AFC

In the documentary, he added: "I couldn't believe how open-armed everyone was to have a chat with me and people asking me if I'm okay."
The episode - titled 'Wins and Losses' - was also dedicated to Arthur.
To show their appreciation to the team at the Butterfly Suite at Wrexham Maelor Hospital that supported them, Jordan and Kelsey set up a fundraising page.
Wrexham AFC co-owners Ryan and Rob even donated £10,000 to that page which was set up in January.
Episode 12 brilliantly covers how there is much more to life than football, even when you are a footballer.
It also details how Ollie Palmer adapted to moving from London to Wrexham so quickly and was thrown into the deep end during his first match having not even met his team-mates beforehand.
