Hope House and Tŷ Gobaith children’s hospices have announced they are returning to Mold with the opening of a new store, right on the High Street.
The charity, which supports and cares for seriously ill children and families in the area, has hospices in both Oswestry and Conwy.
The new store at 3 High Street, which will be selling a mixture of pre-loved clothes, bags and homewares is currently being fitted-out and filled by a team of staff and volunteers led by shop manager, Sian Jones ahead of the grand opening on Saturday, October 15.

Sian said: “We have been busy for several weeks now with all hands on deck, cleaning, painting, arranging shelving and making the shop sparkle for our customers.
“We are very excited to open and are looking forward to seeing some familiar faces and also making new friends.
“The vibrant market days will be a highlight and we hope to share the message of the hospices’ work to the community.”
Mayor of Mold, Haydn Jones will be cutting the ribbon at the grand opening.
Andy Fergus, commercial director for Hope House and Tŷ Gobaith, said: “We are delighted to return to Mold after several years away.

“We receive generous support from the town and the surrounding area that enables us to provide care for local children and families at our hospices.
“Our shops play a vital role in generating much needed funds to support families in our community; support that is more important than ever during these difficult times.
“I have no doubt that the people of Mold will support the shop’s success as customers, volunteers and donors.”
This is the latest in an array of charity shops currently situated on and near Mold High Street including; Save the Children, British Heart Foundation, Nightingale House, The Salvation Army, Oxfam, Barnardos, Age UK, Tenevolus Cancer charity, Claire House Hospice and Almost Home animal rescue.

The shop will be open from 10am on Saturday, October 15.
