A 23-year-old cyclist was seriously injured following a fail-to-stop collision in Broughton.
Police say the collision occurred on the B5129 in Broughton at around 8am today (Thursday, October 6) near Airbus.
They are now appealing for information.
A spokesman for the North Wales Police Roads Policing Unit said: “We are appealing for your help after a cyclist was seriously injured following a fail-to-stop collision on the B5129 in Broughton this morning (Thursday).
“At around 8am the cyclist was travelling along the rear of Airbus heading towards Saltney when he was struck by a vehicle - believed to be a Mercedes Sprinter flatbed, which then made off.
“The Mercedes was located nearby shortly after the collision and enquiries are now ongoing.
“The 23-year-old cyclist was taken to hospital by ambulance with serious injuries.
“We are urging anybody who may have been in the area around the time of the collision, and who may have witnessed the incident or who may have dash cam footage, to contact us immediately quoting reference number 22000737844.”
