A one-day tour of Wrexham reflecting it's importance in World War Two particularly during the bombing raids will take place next year.
Join Mike, Jane and David Garnett of Avalon Tours, an Anglesey-based company, on an informative day out exploring the important role that Wrexham played during WW2.
The tour is aimed at all ages and anyone interested in a bit of local history. It is a day out for all members of the family including refreshments and a light lunch.
During WW2 Wrexham was just 20 miles (as the crow flies) from Liverpool Docks which was the supply hub bringing vital supplies from United States - this was the second most bombed city outside London.
