A MOLD restaurant has been shortlisted as a finalist in the Welsh Restaurant of the Year 2022 competition.
Deadwood Smokehouse in Mold will compete against nine other restaurants across the country for the title at a black-tie ceremony in Cardiff on November 7.
The restaurant already holds the current title of Regional Winner in the Welsh Food Awards 2022 and is now looking to build on that success.
The event seeks to reward talent, skill, hard work and determination of those who serve the region, promote different cuisines, and connect the community through food and culture

Co-owner of Deadwood Smokehouse, Aidan Donovan who runs the restaurant alongside Luke Bevis said: “As always, it’s a great privilege for us to be nominated alongside Wales’ best restaurants.
“We want to continue striving to serve great food and drinks in a fun and welcoming environment.
“We have gone to great lengths and efforts to make out food as close to authentic American BBQ on this side of the Atlantic.’
