The A5 in Llangollen has re-opened and traffic has returned to normal following a three-vehicle collision.
The three vehicle collision happened between between The Wild Pheasant Hotel and Ruthin turn-off shortly before 1pm today.
This caused the road to close both ways and traffic was affected between Chirk and Tyn-y-cefn.
Traffic Wales has reported that: "Road Closed #A5 Llangollen The A5 has been closed in both directions following an incident at Llangollen.
"Please avoid travelling through the area if possible."

A spokesperson at North Wales Police commented: "We received a call at 12.56pm reporting an RTC involving three vehicles on Berwyn Street, Berwyn Llangollen.
"Officers are in attendance and the road is currently closed whilst the vehicles are cleared, and motorists are advised to use alternative routes until further notice."
Traffic Wales reported at 3.23pm that the road was now reopen in both directions.
Inrix Traffic reports also reported that: "A5 both ways re-opened, traffic returned to normal, recovery work completed and accident cleared between The Wild Pheasant Hotel and Ruthin Turn Off."
