AN HORROR film festival showcasing North Wales talent is set to go from strength to strength.
The Phantasmagoria Horror Film Festival was held at Ty Pawb in Wrexham on Saturday.
The brainchild of filmmaker Marc Brimfield, festival-goers were treated to 13 short horror films and three features.
Of the features, two were made in North Wales.
Opening the festival was Expiry Date staring Erin Richards who is best known for playing Barbara Gordon in TV's Gotham.
A rare film that has been out of print now for 10 years, Expiry Date was filmed in and around Wrexham and Llangollen.

Then there was the world premier of the directors cut of Infestation.
Shot in Prestatyn for a budget of £5,000, Infestation is a zombie film set in the near future.
The film was introduced by producer Sian Canty, and following the screening there was a Q&A with director Edward Evers-Swindell.

It was then the turn of Hollywood to end the festival, with a screening of the classic 80s vampire movie Lost Boys.
During the day, Marc said he hoped Phantasmagoria would return bigger and better in 2023.
Attendee Gareth Hall posted on Facebook: "Really enjoyed this event. Great to meet fellow horror fans and support local indie horror productions.
"Well done and thanks to Marc Brimfield and everyone else who helped make this happen, let's do it all again!"
