THE Mold and Buckley Round Table is to host a special Christmas Dinner event for 100 residents on Christmas Day.
The dinner will be held at the Rise Café in Buckley, and the Daniel Owen Centre in Mold and cooked by The Round Table’s resident Chefs, chairman, Colin Devitt and treasurer Eirian Price.
The concept was devised to support residents who are particularly vulnerable or would otherwise be alone on Christmas Day.
The Mold and Buckley Round Table are on the hunt for local businesses and residents to assist in any way they can, either by donating money, resources or even just some time to help make the occasion as special as possible.

Chairman, Colin Devitt said: “Whilst our fundraising throughout the year could probably cover the cost of the day, we thought it important to try and bring as many members of the community together to help make this occasion as special as possible.
“As well as financial donations, we are also looking for other community groups who might like to create decorations for tables and the venues, or perhaps people who might like to give up some time and help us serve the dinners.”
