North Wales Police have issued advise for drivers as animals cause traffic problems across Flintshire and Wrexham.
Figures from the Department for Transport indicate that in 2021 there were 11 accidents caused by animals in the carriage way (except ridden horses).
Recently animals in the road have been causing traffic problems across Flintshire.
The highway code advises drivers "When passing animals, drive slowly. Give them plenty of room and be ready to stop.
"Do not scare animals by sounding your horn, revving your engine or accelerating rapidly once you have passed them.
"Look out for animals being led, driven or ridden on the road and take extra care. Keep your speed down at bends and on narrow country roads.
"If a road is blocked by a herd of animals, stop and switch off your engine until they have left the road.
"Watch out for animals on unfenced roads."

A spokesperson from North Wales Police has also issued this advise: "We would also add that motorists keep their speed down at bends and on narrow country roads and if a road is blocked by a herd of animals, stop and switch off their engine until it’s safe to continue."
"We would also advise to watch out for animals on common land as they tend to be unfenced roads."
"Anyone who comes across animals causing a danger on the road should call 101."
