OVER 2,500 travelling fans made their way down to Oldham to witness Wrexham's last-gasp win this afternoon.

The Reds moved to the top of the National League table thanks to goals from Ben Tozer and Paul Mullin.

Phil Parkinson's side came from 2-1 down to beat Oldham Athletic with a 96th minute penalty at a packed Boundary Park.

The official attendance for the game was 9,496 - with 2,520 of those being Wrexham fans.

That was the highest attendance at Oldham's home ground since they took in Liverpool in the FA Cup back in 2013.

Wrexham are now on an eight-game unbeaten run, having not lost since the 2-0 defeat at Chesterfield in mid-August.

They are top of the league with 26 points from 11 matches and will next face Notts County away on Tuesday, October 4.
