A 21-year-old woman from North Wales who was found dead in Liverpool city centre earlier this month died accidentally, say police.
Chloe Haynes, from Wrexham, died on Saturday, September 10 at the Adelphi Hotel in the city centre.
Emergency services were called to the hotel at 6.37am to reports of a “concern for safety”.
Police officers entered a hotel room where they found the body.
Three men were initially arrested in connection with the death, which was treated as “unexplained”, but later released without charge when a post mortem concluded that she had died as a result of “accidental death”.
Merseyside Police have confirmed that the death is nonsuspicious, and it is now with the Coroner’s Office.
Previously, Detective Chief Inspector Lynsay Armbruster, said: “We are in the very early stages of the investigation, and are trying to determine the circumstances around the young woman's death.
"I would appeal to anyone who was in the hotel in the early hours of this morning who may have seen, or heard anything, at all to come forward.
“CCTV enquiries are ongoing and I would appeal to anyone with any information to please get in touch."
