FLINTSHIRE Council Trading Standards have issued a warning against a new council tax scam.
Residents have reported receiving a phone call claiming to be from Flintshire Council Tax saying that they have over paid their council tax and their account was in credit.

A Flintshire Council Spokesperson said: “If you receive such a phone call, put the phone down immediately – it’s a scam.
“If you have any concerns about your council tax, please call the council on 01352 704848.
