WREXHAM Lager has arrived in New Zealand following a three-month voyage to get the famous drink to the other side of the world.
Wrexham Lager has landed in Auckland and is available to be distributed to any pub or bar in New Zealand, starting with the Welsh Dragon Bar in Wellington.
Director, Mark Roberts said: “I’m very proud to see Wrexham Lager travel to the furthest points of the globe once again. It travels well and I hope the Kiwis enjoy a bit of Welsh!”

The connection between the local brew and New Zealand started during the pandemic, when Wrexham Lager’s social media presence and competitions caught the attention of Wellington’s Welsh Dragon bar, who then closely followed the staple drink and made no secret their desire to import the lager, having already imported Penderyn Whisky.
