WREXHAM Feast took place last weekend (September 24 & 25) and was a resounding success, with organisers confirming plans are now underway for 2023's event.
Thousands flocked to Waterworld car park as it was transformed into a bustling fusion of food and entertainment which was enjoyed by the whole community, resulting in a record-breaking attendance for the annual event.
The festival included an array of food, drinks, live music, activities, shops, and more.
It is believed that over 8,000 visitors turned out to enjoy the event, with organisers confident that this is a record-turnout since the Wrexham Feast began over a decade ago.
Event organiser, Sam Harris couldn’t hide her pride at just how well the event went: “We had a fantastic weekend at Wrexham Feast, thousands flocked to visit with record visitor numbers over the weekend.

“Exhibitors had fantastic sales throughout the weekend with many selling out both days. The feedback to the free family activities has been very positive with Feast Cookery School being full for every session.
“We expanded this year to have two music stages which were really well received with Calon FM our local community radio station broadcasting live from the acoustic stage all weekend to allow people who couldn’t attend to hear some of the fantastic artists perform.
“Wrexham Feast 2022 has been a huge success, we are incredibly grateful for all the continued support received from our exhibitors, team members, and of course event visitors during the festival’s opening.
“We are very pleased to announce plans are already in motion to bring Wrexham Feast 2023 back to the city centre on September 23 and 24, 2023.
“Watch this space as we announce next year’s plans over the coming months over on the feast socials and wrexhamfeast.com 2023 is set to be an even bigger celebration of all things food and drink.”
