A WREXHAM man has been warned all sentencing options remain open after he admitted making indecent images of children.
Sean Haigh, of Hirwaun in Wrexham, appeared at Wrexham Magistrates Court on Tuesday.
The 55-year-old admitted that between July and September last year, he made 78 category C indecent images of a child.
Prosecutor James Neary told the court police received intelligence that Haigh may have been accessing indecent images - following which a search warrant was executed.
His devices were recovered and a number of category C images were found.
Mr Neary said there were also other indicators, including that 'cleanup software' had been used.

Stephen Edwards, defending, said his client accepted the offence was a serious matter and had admitted guilt at the earliest opportunity.
He said the defendant is "anxious to work with probation."
District Judge Owen Gerallt Jones adjourned the sentencing to October 18 at Wrexham for a pre-sentence report to be completed, with all sentencing options to remain open - including committing the matter to Crown Court.
"I'm not tying the hands of the sentencing bench," he remarked.
