"I opted for a home birth as I wanted to be relaxed as possible and I didn't want any medical intervention. My home birth was the best choice I ever made! After being in labour for four days Annabelle decided she was making an arrival a day before her due date. When I was in active labour everything was so peaceful and relaxing, the midwives on call were absolutely amazing. Annabelle was born at 8.08am and her brothers came downstairs at 8.30am to an amazing surprise of a baby sister. The midwives left within an hour of me giving birth, which was also very beneficial as I could bond with my daughter straight away, without nurses coming in and out of a room if I was in hospital."
