This year's Wrexham Feast has been bigger and better than ever according to the traders keeping up with the crowds at the event.

From food and drink to music and entertainment, there was something for everyone at the weekend-long event.

Local Wrexham traders came together with others from across North Wales and even just across the border.

For £5 per adult (or £4 if you booked in advance) people had access to rows of varying stalls.

The items available for purchase on the day included various wines, beers and spirits, including Aber Falls, Wrexham Lager, Bytchmix cocktails and Beech Avenue Brewery.

Various street food vendors could also be found, from a hog roast to Japanese style food and piri piri chicken.

Other stalls sold books like Usborne, or condiments from the award-winning Happy Hedgehog Foods among other items.

Standage Creusailor from Goch & Company, a Wrexham-based company selling fine condiments and seasonings of varying spice, said that he had underestimated the stock he would need for the event.

The company had been at the event last year, but this year noticed that the event was much busier.

He said: "It is a good thing though, I'm not complaining. It's been a busy day."

Helena Dearman from Twisted Wheel Brew Co said: “Everybody’s worked hard to put this together again and just nice to see friends and families coming out and having a nice time with everything we’ve been through over the last couple of years so it’s good and it’s nice to see the children as well. I think there’s something for everyone.”

Bethan Wear and Austin Moore from the Shiny Pebble, a company selling jewellery, said that it was nice to have an event like this in Wrexham and that they had done well despite their stall not being food-based.

Austin explained: “It’s nice to see so many people out in Wrexham. After lockdown it's nice to see everyone out and about.”

The event was held between 10am to 9pm on Saturday (September 24) and on Sunday (September 25) 10am to 6pm.
