SOMETHING very special is being planned for Llangollen this Christmas time.
The new Vale of Llangollen Rotary has partnered with the Llangollen and District Young Farmers Association to organise an Illuminated Tractor Run event.
Taking place on Sunday, December 4, it will feature tractors covered in fairy lights for a truly festive occasion in aid of various good causes.
The tractors will gather at 3.30pm in the Llangollen Pavilion and will leave after the judging at 5pm.
The run will be started with a wave off by the Llangollen Mayor Councillor Paul Keddie and the Rotary District Governor Paul Dutton.

The run will leave the Pavillion and head up towards Castle Street in Llangollen.
It will then move onto the A5 through Froncysylte, Chirk, St Martins, Overton, Ruabon and Trevor before heading back to Llangollen.

A spokesperson for the Vale of Llangollen Rotary said: "We are limiting ourselves to 30 tractors for our first run so please don’t delay in registering to avoid disappointment.
"Please visit www.valeofllangollenrotary.com and click the page for the tractor run to see the rules and how to register.
"We are asking local farmers in particular to please get behind this new attraction and charity fundraiser for the community.
"There will be a bucket collection by our marshals so please bring along some cash."
