AN EXHIBITION commemorating Wales and the 80th anniversary of the Battle of Britain is coming to Flintshire.
In partnership with Flintshire County Council, Aura will be hosting the exhibition at the Queensferry Library from 4pm on Monday, October 3.
The exhibition will focus on the Welsh aircrew who fought in the battle, telling their stories and heroism to a modern Welsh audience.

Air Commodore, Adrian Williams who is the senior RAF officer in Wales said: “I’m delighted that The Wales and the Battle of Britain Historical Exhibition is coming to Flintshire.
“The exhibition tells us the untold story from a Welsh perspective including information on how the RAF stations in Wales, together with local communities across Wales, all contributed to victory in 1940.”
The chair of the council will be joined by Air Commodore Williams to open The Wales and the Battle of Britain Historical anniversary exhibition at Queensferry Library, from 4pm on Monday, October 3.
The exhibition will be open daily from 9am to 6pm up until Friday, October 7. Admission is FREE.
