A new year is set to begin at Wrexham Glyndwr University, and some students may still be seeking out some very last-minute accommodation.

By this point in the year the vast majority of spots in the Wrexham Village on campus and other student accommodation buildings in the area, such as Snowdon Hall, would have gone.

It might leave some students scrabbling around for the next best thing, but there are some options to use.

Here's the information you should know if still looking for accommodation at Wrexham Glyndwr University.

Last-minute accommodation at Wrexham Glyndwr University

On its Living off campus website pageWrexham Glyndwr University says it maintains an online web register called Student Pad.

There you can search for suitable student properties to rent in Wrexham.

On the university website it states: "To improve our service to students, only landlords who have been accredited with the Landlord Accreditation Wales Scheme certificate will be listed through Student Pad.

"This LAW scheme is supported by every council in Wales and promotes professional landlords and agents who rent out good quality accommodation whilst understanding the requirements of students and their own obligations as a landlord."

You can visit the Student pad website here.
