TRIBUTES have poured in following the tragic death of former Connah's Quay Nomads FC player and coach, Jamie Wynne.
The 28-year-old died last Friday (September 16) in a tragedy which has shocked the Deeside community.
Jamie's former clubs, coaches and teammates have been paying tribute to him in recent days.
As well as having been an "incredibly talented footballer", Jamie is described as having been "a genuine, loveable lad and great man" and will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
Connah's Quay Nomads FC issued a statement saying: "Everyone at The Nomads is devastated to hear the passing of Jamie Wynne.
"Jamie was a key part of our early academy years at the club, winning the U19 league for the first time and also making a handful of appearances for the first team before also going on to be an academy coach.
"Our condolences go to Jamie’s family, his parents Darren and Dawn and brother Ben."

On Tuesday night, The Nomads dedicated their cup fixture with Holywell Town to Jamie's memory.
Just under 1,000 people attended the game - which saw Nomads players wear black armbands and featured Jamie in a commemorative match programme. All proceeds from Tuesday's game including gate, programme and cafe takings all being donated to the Wynne family. Fittingly, The Nomads won the match 1-0.
Holywell Town FC manager Johnny Haseldin said: "It was really emotional with the passing of Jamie.
"A lot of the lads knew him and I knew him as well.
"My thoughts go to the club and with all the family."
Nomads Technical Director, Jay Catton, said he was "heartbroken" by the news.
Paying a touching tribute to Jamie, he said: "An incredibly talented footballer throughout youth and senior game who was loved by everyone who knew him and always life and soul of any event.
"To watch him grow as a youngster personally at Connah’s Quay Nomads Academy right through to play and score for his local club in the Cymru Premier on numerous occasions along with representing Wales U18s was incredible to see and inspirational to so many.
"To also to see him progress and thrive during his work at Deeside developing local football, alongside coaching the next generation of youngsters in the academy all whilst gaining degree at UCLAN was testament to how hard he worked and what he was able to achieve.
"A young man that will be missed so much by all who knew him and this news has been so hard to take for everyone. One of the most genuine, loveable lads and a great man who I along with all will miss dearly.
"I will never forget all the years and experiences I was able to personally share with Jamie and he will never be forgotten by all that knew him."
Jamie also played for FC Nomads, Connah’s Quay Town and Nelson FC, in Lancashire - all of whom paid tribute to him.
