POLICE are investigating a dog attack that left a woman with "serious injuries".
North Wales Police's Wrexham Rural team said today that the incident occurred at about 8.35pm on Sunday, July 24.
A spokesperson said: "A woman was walking her dog just outside Rossett Park Industrial Estate when two Mastiff type dogs (one being grey and the other Brindle in colour) charged at her.
"The first attacked her dog and the second bit the victim several times to the leg causing serious injuries."

Police said the dogs were with a man and woman. The woman is described as about 5’5” with brown hair tied back, and the man is described as a similar height with dark hair. The pair walked off with the dogs before the man returned and picked up a pink phone.
Police said they are keen to trace the owners of a Dark Vauxhall Insignia Estate (similar to the one pictured below), as they may be able to assist in the investigation. Equally, they are keen for anyone who may know of similar dogs to come forward.
