Police are looking for any information on graffiti on a wall in Johnstown.
The damage has been cleared since it was first reported on September 8, the day that Buckingham Palace announced that the Queen had died.
An officer from the Wrexham Rural team sent the update via the Community Alerts page for North Wales Police on September 20.
It read: “I am just sending this message appealing for any CCTV or information in relation to some graffiti which appeared on a wall on Aberderfyn Road, just opposite the entrance to the Industrial Estate.
“The graffiti was reported to NWP on 08/09/22 but it is unsure if the damage appeared before then. I was not able to inform you of this incident sooner as due to the passing of HM Queen Elizabeth II, police social media and non-necessary messaging ceased for the duration of the national period of mourning.
“The graffiti has since been cleared but we would still be interested to know who caused the damage.
“If you have any information or CCTV please reply to this message and let me know. I would attach a picture of the damage but the language used is not suitable to be shared.”
