Adolygiad Llyfr
The Magic Faraway Tree - A New Adventure gan Jacqueline Wilson (Wedi'i Ysbrydoli gan Enid Blyton)
Fel plentyn The Magic Faraway Tree gan Enid Blyton oedd fy hoff lyfr. Nawr yn fy 60au roeddwn yn chwilfrydig a fyddai'r antur newydd a ysgrifennwyd gan Jacqueline Wilson yn driw i'r gwreiddiol ai peidio – a fyddai'r cymeriadau yr un fath, ac a fyddai'r hud yn dal yno! Cawn ein cyflwyno i deulu newydd wrth iddynt yrru i'w cyrchfan gwyliau - bwthyn yn y wlad sy'n agos i'r Enchanted Wood. Unwaith y byddant yn y bwthyn mae'r stori'n mynd i'r afael â fformat cyfarwydd y plant yn archwilio'r coed ac yn dod o hyd i'r Magic Faraway Tree, gyda'i holl gymeriadau gwreiddiol fel Silky, Moonface, Dame Washalot a Saucepan Man. Treuliwyd eu gwyliau yn ymweld â'r goeden ac yn archwilio'r bydoedd gwahanol ar frig y goeden – yn cael yr anturiaethau fel y rhai rwy'n cofio darllen amdanynt yn fy mhlentyndod. Roedd yna ychydig o wahaniaethau yn yr amser hwnnw safodd yn llonydd tra roedd y plant yn yr Enchated Wood - felly pan ddaethant yn ôl roedd yn amser brecwast o hyd. Ar y cyfan, roeddwn wrth fy modd yn dychwelyd i The Magic Faraway Tree ac roedd yn teimlo fy mod yn dal i fyny gyda hen ffrindiau nad oeddwn wedi'u gweld ers amser maith! Roedd yr hud yn bendant dal yno! Lynda
