A Flintshire veterinary practice have issued a plea to dog owners following the death of a female sheep on Friday.
The ewe was attacked by a dog yesterday (September 16), and sadly died.
Caerwys Veterniary Surgery posted two graphic images of the ewe, illustrating the severity of the injuries which led to its death.
The attack took place in Babell and the vet says it is not the first ewe to be lost by the farmer this week.
