A property in Buckley will feature in the final of Wales’ Home of the Year this Friday competing against four other homes across Wales.
The Victorian terrace home was crowned the winner in the first episode of the series focussing on North East Wales.
The BBC programme is a six-part series that began on Friday, August 12, and Weatherman, drummer and fashionista Owain Wyn Evans was joined by interior designer Mandy Watkins, and architect Glen Thomas to judge the homes in the region.
Episode six, the final in the series will air this Friday (September 16) where the five regional winners go head-to-head to be crowned Wales’ Home of the Year. This is despite scheduling changes following the death of the Queen.
In Episode two, focussing on the Mid Wales, a converted 1980s riverside bungalow in Cardigan, The Holt, was crowned the winner.

Episode three looked at homes in the North West, with a Victorian townhouse called Holmedale in Llandudno coming out on top.
Episode four took the judges to the South East where The Croft, a converted nursing home in Pontypridd was crowned the winner.
Episode five saw the judges decide on properties in the South West region, where they fell in love with a traditional Welsh cottage with a view of Kidwelly Castle. That property, Little Castle Cottage, was the winner.

The final of Wales’ Home of the Year will air at 8.15 pm on Friday, September 16 on BBC One Wales.
