A WREXHAM man has spoken of his disappointment after his dropped bank card was used for a £130 spending spree.
Joseph Davies, 30, realised his card was missing after taking his daughter swimming in Waterworld, Wrexham on Sunday (September 11) and was left seething to learn that the card had been subject of the spree when checking his online banking.
The card proceeded to be used at local shops before culminating at the co-op on Poplar Road.

The following Monday evening, upon checking his online bank Joseph realised he was £130 short.
“Within 15 minutes of checking my bank, someone had spent £130.
“It’s quite awkward really as I work within security, and I’m quite clued up on scams!", he joked.
Single dad, Joseph also shared his frustrations as this has coincided with an expensive month for him during an ongoing cost of living crisis.
“It’s ten days until payday and we have had all the going back to school clothes, she’s (my daughter) going back to Guides, so I’ve had to get all that stuff as well. We came back from our holidays two or three weeks ago, so it’s been a very expensive month.”
“The bank has said when it’s finished being processed, they can begin to reimburse my money, but I’m not sure how long that takes.”
The matter has been reported to North Wales Police.
