WREXHAM AFC has praised the 'outstanding turnout' of fans during its latest victory at the Racecourse.

The Reds beat Dagenham and Redbridge 4-1 in the latest National League match on Tuesday, September 13.

A brace each from Paul Mullin and Ollie Palmer secured what was a fifth successive victory for Wrexham.

The game was not without controversy however as a minute silence in tribute to Queen Elizabeth II before the match was interrupted by a 'small group' of fans.

But, the club has been quick to shine a light on those who did behave among the 9,835 members of the crowd.

Wrexham AFC took to Twitter during the match to praise the 'outstanding turnout' on the night.

Seventeen Dagenham and Redbridge fans made the 203 mile trip, or four hour journey, to north Wales.
