LLANGOLLEN'S new rotary club is collecting old and unwanted bras for its latest environmental and international project.
The Vale of Llangollen Rotary was recently formed following the demise of the former club which closed its doors after 60 years of serving the community.
If you have been to the Co-Op and Nisa in Llangollen recently, then you will have seen the pink 'Against Breast Cancer Bra Banks bin' where bras can be deposited.
Vale of Llangollen Rotary is appealing for bras, no matter what condition, to help keep them out of land fill and help support 'Against Breast Cancer', as well as families in Africa.

The rotary's Mike Lade said: "When you drop a bra in one of our Bra Banks, your ill-fitting or unloved bras will be whisked away to start a new life on the other side of the world.
"Here, they are used to support small businesses for African women to support their families by selling the bras in the markets in places such as Togo, Ghana and Kenya.
"Bras are impossibly expensive to make and buy in places like Africa."
The Vale of Llangollen Rotary is now ready to welcome individuals from the local community who want to be “people of action”.
The club normally meet face-to-face, at the Liberty Tavern, 20 Market Street, Llangollen on Monday evenings at 7.30pm.
