The Mayor of Wrexham has offered his sympathies following the death of the Queen.
In a statement, he confirmed that Wrexham Council has lowered the flags to half-mast, and a Book of Condolence is available online.
Yesterday (Thursday, September 9) Buckingham Palace confirmed that Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II had died in the afternoon following concerns from her doctors about her health.

Cllr Brian Cameron, Mayor of Wrexham said: “It has been announced by Buckingham Palace that Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II has passed away.
"It is with great sadness that the Council received this news and it sends its deepest sympathies and those of the people of Wrexham to the Royal Family.
"As a mark of respect the flags have been lowered to half-mast and a Book of Condolence will be opened at the Guildhall from 10am on Monday.
"There is also an online Book of Condolence available immediately.”
Floral tribute are also being left by the flagpoles on Queen’s Square.
