AS Britain mourns the loss of its longest serving monarch, we look back on some of the Queen's visits to the region.
This year saw Her Majesty mark 70 years on the throne, with the nation coming together to mark the Platinum Jubilee.
Queen Elizabeth II has made several visits to North Wales across those seven decades, including Wrexham and Flintshire.
