A Wrexham rugby coach took on a challenging run to raise funds for his team to get new equipment.
David Dixon, coach of the Wrexham Rugby Club Under eights team completed a sponsored run from Mold Rugby Club to his home ground on Bryn Estyn Lane, to raise funds for his team.
David promised the players that he would run the match ball from Mold back to Wrexham Rugby Club in time to play the first match of the season.
After leaving Mold at 8.30am, David arrived in Wrexham at 10.45 just in time for kick-off.

He was supported along the way by a fellow Coach Owen Richards who rode the support bike to keep David safe and provide him with drinks and food to keep him going.
David's efforts have raised £660 which will be put towards securing new equipment and opportunities for his side.

His wife Rhiannon said her husband was overwhelmed by the support he has received.
She added: "I am so proud of Dave for his hard work and dedication to training- he even took his trainers to Greece so that he would be ready to Run the distance on Sunday. He was determined not to let the players down as he had made them a promise. Seeing him run-in with the whole team cheering him on was just the best way to start our season"
