MONEY raised through Deeside Round Table (DRT) events has been providing urgent care packages to those who need them most in the local community.
DRT recently held its first-ever beer and cider festival which managed to raise over £18,000 at the first attempt.
The charity has now been supporting the local area for over 60 years, and 100 per cent of profits from events such as the beer and cider festival goes directly to supporting vulnerable and in-need groups, families and individuals.
And with many people across north Wales and beyond now feeling the pinch amid the cost of living crisis, raising money has never been so important.
Following their most recent festival, the DRT team has been out delivering urgent care packages to those in need.

The care packages include items such as toilet roll, bread and crisps.
A DRT spokesperson said: "Recently, our community officer Steve Wood delivered two urgent care packs to vulnerable families across Deeside.

"Raising money through beer festivals, Halloween parties (coming soon) and fireworks displays allows us to help as many people as possible in our area.
"We don’t charge for our help and every member provides their time voluntarily because they care about our local community
"We’ll never be able to help everyone, but we’ll always do our best to support the most vulnerable in any way we can."
