This week has seen many of the region's schools welcome back students.
For many, it will be their first day ever, whether they're starting primary or making the leap to high school.
We've been asking Leader readers from across Wrexham and Flintshire to share photos of their youngsters' as they set off for their first day.
From first day of school or back to classroom, we have been overwhelmed by hundreds of proud parents and grandparents sharing their photos.
Hopefully it's been a time of shiny shoes, bright white polo tops and smiles all round. Look out for more tomorrow.
We also asked how those first days had gone.
Leanne Braisdell: "Mine had a great day. He's super proud of himself for joining a mainstream science class, as am I. He's Year 8 and he's really pushing himself to integrate more. The school have really encouraged him too which is fantastic. He was covered in pizza though."
Katy Evans: "My son said he doesn’t think he can do this for five days."
Candice Harper: "Well my son didn't get suspended, so I'm taking that as a good day."
Julie Gregson: "My 12-year-old had tears 8am but only for a few minutes going into Year 8. Came home fine. My granddaughter went in all day into reception, only four, she had a lovely day."
Mol Val: "I asked him and he said 'good'. I then asked him what did he do? And he replied 'don’t know'. Normality has resumed!"
