A MAN'S sentencing following the death of his grandmother has been postponed.
Kyle David Edward Ellis, aged 26 and of New Hall Road in Ruabon, had previously admitted an offence of manslaughter following the death of Susan Hannaby last year.
Judge Rhys Rowlands told the court that more enquiries needed to be made with North Wales-based mental health unit Tŷ Llywelyn as to the availability of a bed in the event Ellis was made the subject of a hospital order.
The Judge added: "This is getting concerning now - this man pleaded guilty in April.
"We're going round in circles.

"I direct that both psychiatrists (for the prosecution and defence), if they remain of the view this is a hospital order case, they liaise with Tŷ Llywelyn and whoever is in charge there at present to ascertain if there is a bed available there in the next month.
"If yes, all we need is a short confirmation to that effect."
He added that if such a bed was not available at Tŷ Llywelyn, NHS mechanisms to accommodate the defendant at another hospital could be explored.
The case is to be mentioned again on September 26.
