Two Wrexham-based cancer doctors have helped Wales win an annual golfing competition.
Professor Iqbal Shergill and Professor Stephen Hughes have retained their crown at the annual NHS International Golf competition.
The NHS 4 Nations Classic golf tournament brings together teams from England, Wales, Northern Ireland and Scotland to compete for the winners’ trophy.
The event took place at Hill Valley golf club in August, with Wales winning for the second consecutive year.

It is the first time ever Wales have had back-to-back wins and their contribution played a massive part in beating England to the trophy.
The pair are also members of the Wrexham Prostate Cancer Support Group and have played big roles in organising golf days and charity auctions, in attempts to raise funds for specific cancer equipment for the Maelor Hospital.

Following the recent fundraising events, in which the group raised £10,000, Professor Shergill said the efforts had 'exceeded everyone's expectations' and that the money would be benefiting the people of Wrexham.
The group hosts meetings at the Trevor Arms, Marford, on the first Wednesday of every month.
The next meeting is at 7pm on Wednesday, September 7.
