FLINTSHIRE foodbank has received a much-welcomed grant of £20,000 from the Anne Duchess of Westminster’s Fund.
The funding will ensure members of the community continue to get the support they need amid the growing crisis of food poverty.
A spokesperson from the foundation said: “The Westminster Foundation and the Anne Duchess of Westminster’s Fund is proud to support Flintshire Foodbank and the important services it is providing to the community.

“We recognise that the current cost of living crisis makes the work that the Foodbank does even more important than ever and hope that our support for two years will help provide some certainty and security.”
The grant comes as the foodbank recently marked ten years of serving the local community.
Stacey Adams, who works in marketing and fundraising for Flintshire Foodbank said: “We are so grateful to receive such a generous donation from the Anne Duchess of Westminster Fund.
