WREXHAM AFC's superstar co-owners have launched their latest initative to support the community - and although it's bizarre - it's for a very good cause.
Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney have well and truly immersed themselves into the football club and the local area as a whole since their takeover was completed in early 2021.
And now the pair have once again demonstrated their generosity and care for the community with their latest idea which will help support Wrexham foodbank.
Ahead of National Welsh Rarebit Day (which is apparently celebrated on September 3 in the United States), the pair have launched an 'official Wrexham AFC' cookbook.

'20 Ways To Make Rarebit' takes a (somewhat comical) look at how the dish, consisting of a hot cheese-based sauce served over slices of toasted bread, is served up around the world.
From the English rarebit with beans on top to the American rarebit featuring tomato ketchup, there's something for everyone to enjoy!

A statement from Rob and Ryan on the launch read: "As Co-chairmen of Wrexham AFC, our mission is to support the team and local community, both on and off the pitch.
"Today, we’re in the kitchen. And proud to share one of Wales’ most famous and tastiest legends – Welsh Rarebit.
"In this book, we’ll answer questions like what is Rarebit? Isn’t it just cheese on toast? And, why are two idiots with no culinary experience releasing a recipe book about this Welsh delicacy?
"Every page features a Rarebit recipe lovingly tailored for fans around the world. So wherever you are, we hope you’ll enjoy taking a rare–bite out of Welsh history, as you cheer on the Red Dragons."
All proceeds raised from sales of the cookbook will be going towards Wrexham foodbank.
