Flintshire taekwondo star Jade Jones has said she'd happily go back through the gruelling challenges of upcoming Channel 4 show Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins.
Speaking to the Leader ahead of the first episode of the show, which airs on Sunday, the 29-year-old Olympic gold medallist shared some spoiler-free memories from her experience in the Jordanian desert.
She said: "When my agent asked me if I wanted to do this show, my first instinct was - not really!
"It's known as the toughest show. I am a fighter, and when I am in the ring I am hard going, but when it comes to heights, going in water, jumping off things - I'm nervous.
"But then I thought, it'll test me. So I decided to see how strong I was - and I loved every minute of it."
Jade said she and fellow competitors had to quarantine for a week or so before proceeding to the location of the challenges, in Jordan.

"I was there for ten days with no phone and no contact with the outside world," she said.
"It was crazy hot during the day - we were literally in the desert in Jordan - but then it became really cold at night.
"The show was probably harder than I thought it was going to be - it's definitely 100 per cent harder than it looks on TV.
"But I love working hard and training, so I loved it.
"I'd definitely go back in and do it again."
In photos released by Channel 4 ahead of Sunday's episode 1, Jade can be seen donning a gas mask ahead of a tear gas challenge, and then kneeling and regaining her breath afterwards.
"The tear gas challenge was nuts," she said.
"It was horrible - I couldn't open my eyes for five minutes and I literally couldn't talk.

"But you get so wrapped up in it that you don't really see the camera people."
Speaking of her co-competitors, she added: "They were a really great bunch of people and we had an amazing bond."
Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins returns to Channel 4 on Sunday, September 4 at 9pm.
