A CHARITY ball is being held this weekend in memory of a Flintshire teenager.
Jordan Giddins, known as Giddo, was diagnosed in November 2015 with Ewings Sarcoma, which was a secondary cancer due to all of his previous treatment.
The disease is a rare type of bone cancer that mainly affects children and young people. He died at the age of 18 in 2016.
The Giddo's Gift charity was set up in memory of Giddo, from Flint, and aims to help other teenagers and young adults going through similar battles.
Since being formed, it has raised well in excess of £200,000 to help support research and people batting the disease.

On Saturday (September 3), the 'Blue Ball' event is taking place to raise vital funds for the charity.

It will include a three-course meal, an auction and raffle and live music from local artists, Tom Collins and Nick Lloyd. There will also be a drinks reception on arrival.
Tickets are priced at £50 per person and can be bought by contacting https://www.facebook.com/giddosgift18
