POLICE patrols have been stepped up in rural Wrexham after reports of a man 'exposing himself'.

The message of reassurance came from North Wales Police on Wednesday.

A spokesman for the Wrexham Rural team said: "We are aware of recent reports of a male exposing himself in the Hafod Banks area of Johnstown and Rhosllanerchrugog.

"The local policing team have raised patrols in the area to provide reassurance to the public.

"These incidents are currently being investigated and we ask the community to be vigilant and report any suspicious activity and individuals to police."
