A community carnival in Johnstown returned today (August 28) for the first time since Covid and hosted hundreds of people from the community and beyond.
The Johnstown Community Carnival was held Heol Kenyon playing fields between midday and 9 pm and has waited three years for its return.
The carnival is in memory of a local woman, Denise Caldecott - who died suddenly, aged 55.
Live music from various acts and a fun fair kept the visitors entertained.

Stalls lined the field, from sweets and cookie dough to dog training and even stalls from the British Army.
Entire families enjoyed the day, having brought their own chairs and enjoying the fine weather and the bar.
Despite the area not having any parking, visitors were respectful of the residents.
