NORTH Wales Police officers have had another busy 24 hours in the Wrexham area.
Inspector Luke Hughes has recently begun providing daily updates of what officers are dealing with, in order to keep members of the public informed.
In the last 24 hours, shoplifters were among the biggest incidents faced by NWP according to Inspector Hughes.

The day began for officers at 8.15am with a welfare concern for an elderly man who could be heard by neighbours who were worried he'd had a fall. Officers attended and all was 'in order'.
Just after 10am, they received a call about a man who was suspected to have been shoplifting having been observed by staff. He was arrested at the scene.
Twenty minutes later, another call came in about a property, which is currently undergoing renovation, and had been entered overnight. Officers attended and confirmed circumstances with positive lines of enquires identified.
Later, another welfare check was then carried out, this time on a woman, before a man was arrested following an alleged domestic assault incident.
At 2.41pm, a bizarre call came in about a woman who was suspected to have shoplifted from a town centre business, allegedly making off on her mobility scooter!
At 4.39pm, a vehicle was seen in 'suspicious circumstances' on Box Lane. Inspector Hughes added: "Black Mercedes S320 – enquiries ongoing – could be innocent just driving like a fool."
PIC: It was another eventful day for police officers in Wrexham.
Later, youths were reportedly seen on the roof of Ty Pawb once again, before being caught by officers.
Having reviewed CCTV footage, Inspector Hughes said: "I see lots of finger-wagging and stern faces from the officers, the youths shuffling feet and looking down…. Please understand we are only educating you as we don’t want any harm to come to you or anyone else."
6.04pm saw what Inspector Hughes described as the 'most concerning report of the day' come in.
He added: "A member of the public states she has seen an elderly male pushed over resulting in his glasses falling off and sustaining cuts to his arm. She has taken him to an address and can show officers where it is.
"At this time that victim remains unknown, however if you have any knowledge or witnessed this can you contact us and quote B129325 – officer will be contacting the informant this morning."
