A fire in a field in Penley is currently being allowed to "burn in a controlled manner" by firefighters at the scene.
The fire involves hay bales and North Wales Fire and Rescue Service is currently on the scene.
A spokesperson said: "We are in attendance at a fire in a field in Penley near Wrexham involving hay bales. Please be reassured that firefighters are monitoring the fire as it is being allowed to burn in a controlled manner. Local people have been informed of the situation."
