RESIDENTS have been urged to speak to police if they have concerns about rogue traders.
North Wales Police issued the call to residents across Wrexham on Tuesday afternoon.
PCSO Dean Sawyer said: "Just to make you aware if you are not already - rogue traders have been seen in the Wrexham rural area.
"Rogue traders will generally knock at the door asking if you would like work done which can include driveways, garden work, roofing etc.
"Sadly the rogue traders are not qualified in any of the above. They will carry out very little work and charge you much higher than what they originally quote you.
"Rogue traders will target vulnerable or elderly residents.
"If you see a company working in the area and you think they are not legitimate please report this to us on 101 or 999 if urgent."
