A MAN was arrested after police recovered a suspected stolen car in Flintshire.
North Wales Police's Intercept Team said its officers were alerted by Merseyside Police to there being two vehciles active with the same number plate being displayed on both.
Officers discovered that the one believed the be the clone was active within the North Wales area, and they quickly located it parked up in Holywell.
Police said further checks showed this vehicle had been stolen earlier this month.
The vehicle was recovered to be returned to the rightful owner, and one man was subsequently identified and arrested on suspicion of the theft of a motor vehicle, driving while disqualified and driving without insurance.
